I recently took a photography class that encouraged me to look at my subject matter from varying vantage points. This prompted me to experiment with still life compositions. The result was a series of food and beverage paintings. The old coffee grinder, coupled with my love of my morning coffee, made it natural choice for the first in this series of paintings.
