I had only recently completed Tea Time when I knew I wanted to do another tea painting with a more contemporary look. After a few photo sessions and a lot of tea, this was the end result. As with most still lifes, I experimented with many compositions. I chose this one because of the way the striped cloth drew your eye into the scene.
